Georgian students will join the Global UGRAD program this year
As part of its partnership with the U.S. Embassy and through Gulf's initiative, 7 more Georgian students will join the Global UGRAD program this year and continue their studies at the leading universities in the United States.
Since 2022, with the support of the Gulf Oil Company, 40 students have participated in the program and received full academic funding.
The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) is a U.S. Department of State initiative that provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to study for one academic semester at U.S. universities. The program aims to enhance participants’ understanding of American society and culture, while also fostering leadership development.
Supporting educational initiatives is a key priority for Gulf. Since 2022, the company has awarded scholarships to the top 100 scorers in Georgia’s Unified National Examinations each year. In addition, since 2023, Gulf has become a partner of the AmCham and MAC Georgia Scholarship Program.
